If you do a make-up, please tell Secretary Shirley about it right away, so the right numbers are reported to the District.

Marcia's Notes:

Guests tonight were Bobbi Dillion from the Mediation Center of Rochester and Chris the priciple from the Avon Central School. We all thanked Barb, Kirk, Shirley, Jim, Hans and Prez Bill for throwing the BOD Christmas Party. Our next meeting will be held on January 6th at the home of Barb Herman. That is a Sunday afternoon starting at 2:00. As you read in the last newsletter from Prez Elect Barb Herman we will be meeting Terry Daley and his wife Debbie from Australia. This will be in place of our regular meeting for the week. So we will be meeting again at Peppermints for a regular meeting on Tuesday January 15th. Sue O'Hearn and Bill Gee will be taking books that have been donated to School 33. We have 2 senior boys who will be in the vocal competition. Celebrations included one from Laurie Vonglis regarding the very nice party at Bill and Jill Walls house. Thank you for hosting. Shirley's grandson is coming to visit from Texas so she wanted to celebrate. Sue O'Hearn also wanted to celebrate the small things in life and to thank everyone for their cards and flowers and phone calls. Also her sone has been accepted to Texas A&M. She is thrilled but also crying. Steve Stephenson celebrated that his wife Carol was OK after doing a 360 on 5 & 20 with no cars around. Chris the principle from Avon Central School gave us a quick update on everything that has been going on at the school. Bobbie Dillion gave us the program for the night. She is a mediator at the Mediation Center of Rochester. It has been there for 26 years. She talked about conflict and how do we resolve it. We brainstormed with marshmallows, none of course were flung around the room at people by our own Mayor of Avon. The point of the exercise was to come up with lots of ideas and get creative about it on how to resolve conflict in your life. If you need help there is a place you can get it. 50/50 was won by Margo Harper. See you at the next meeting on January 6th at Barb Herman's house or at the regular meeting on January 15th at Peppermints.
