[As usual, no message received. HK]

President Bill

Looking back on...

Tue 8/28 Special Meeting
Program: Conesus Boat Ride and Barbeque at The Beachcomber's.
Attendance: MIA were Joe Calahan, Hal Cole, Don Cook, Rob Coyne, Bert Croop, Tim Dickinson, Charles Feller, Bob Hayes, Linda Kime, Charlie Pease, Karl Sawicki, Jamie Shoemaker, Steve Stephenson, and Jim Yencer.

Pres. Bill encourages all who missed a meeting to call another MIA and do a make-up together. For nearby make-up options, check the back of our paper directory or the on-line directory of District club meeting times and places. If you do a make-up, please tell Secretary Shirley about it right away, so the right numbers are reported to the District.

Marcia's Notes:

I hope Laurie doesn't mind but I put in the newsletter her words from her E-Mail because she did it so beautifully. Thanks Laurie for your quote. I hope it was Ok I used it. On top of the great meeting and fun time we all had Marne Rogers was the latest and (emotional) Paul Harris Fellow Award winner. Well deserved Marne and CONGRADULATIONS. See you at the next meeting.

In Lauries words: If you missed last evening's festivities, you really missed a nice time. The weather was perfect! The Beachcomber food was very good and the setting wasn't too shabby either. We even had a full moon on the ride home -- how romantic! Thank you to Kim & Jerry Dougherty for having our large group at their lovely home on the lake. What a beautiful setting! Thank you to Jerry, Jim Tompsett and Dave Futter for providing the boats for our cruise down the lake and back! We had a relaxing/exciting time, depending on whose boat you were in.

Submitted by Marcia Cameron.

Looking forward to...
